These 5 things happen when you go jogging every day
1. The blood circulation is stimulated
Circulatory disorders are mainly caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. For example, smoking, obesity, an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise are among the risk factors for impaired blood flow in the circulatory system. Since circulatory disorders can have dangerous consequences such as a heart attack or stroke, it is important to prevent or counteract them in good time. Cardio training such as jogging is particularly good for stimulating blood flow and specifically protecting against thrombosis. It also adapts to the cardiovascular system to regular exercise – people who do endurance sports have a larger heart than non-athletes and can transport more blood and therefore oxygen with every heartbeat. Because of this, her heart beats slower.

2. You sleep better
According to the DAK Health Report 2017 , around 80 percent of workers in Germany suffer from sleep problems. If we are unable to fall asleep or stay asleep, there are various possible reasons for this – including lack of exercise. If you want to improve your sleep quality, you should get enough exercise and do sports. Endurance sports such as jogging reduce stress on the one hand and we use up energy on the other. After training we have exhausted ourselves and are tired, which in turn makes it easier for us to fall asleep. However, you should refrain from an intensive workout two hours before bedtime in order to be able to sleep better.
3. Your body is showing symptoms of overload
Although regular jogging is good for your health, you shouldn’t go for a run every day. Because a permanent overload damages the joints and can even cause damage. For example, a so-called fatigue fracture is caused by recurring stress. And not only that: If you do the same endurance training every day, muscle regeneration is prevented. In the worst case, this can even lead to muscle mass being reduced. On top of that, sports units that last longer than 45 minutes are perceived as stress by the body, which causes the level of the stress hormone cortisol to rise in the body. A permanently elevated cortisol level can promote the development of sleep disorders, high blood pressure or heart disease.

4. You lose weight
Do you want to lose weight? Then regular endurance sports such as jogging are ideal for effectively losing weight. Because depending on your body weight and running speed, you can burn around 200 to 400 calories in half an hour. In addition, when you jog, you not only train your legs, but also your buttocks and stomach, which means that your body becomes more defined in the long term. However, losing weight only works in combination with a healthy, balanced diet.
5. Your mood improves
Who does not know it – before the sport the mood was still depressed, after the workout you feel balanced and full of energy! Sporting activities such as jogging cause our body to release the messenger substances dopamine, serotonin and endorphin, which we also call happiness hormones. If you are struggling with low mood, regular jogging sessions can help improve your mood. But be careful: If you overdo it with running, the sports unit can also degenerate into stress and get on your spirit.
