The power of natural cosmetics

Activating cell energy, smoothing wrinkles, styling hair, fighting cellulite: Natural cosmetics are just as good at almost all the refinements of classic beauty products today. With one difference: you use – of course – the power of plants.

Beauty power from natural sources

Especially in the anti-aging area, natural cosmetics have increased enormously in recent years. Intercepting free radicals, strengthening the barrier layer and smoothing out wrinkles – this is also possible today with plant extracts. Raw materials from controlled organic cultivation and certified wild collection
are predominantly used. Smoothing hyaluronic acid, for example, is obtained from wheat by fermentation – in contrast, in conventional cosmetics it is often synthetically produced.

The same applies to the coenzyme Q10 : it is obtained from yeast strains for natural cosmetics, and is usually chemically reproduced for classic cosmetics.
It was a bit more difficult in the past with natural hair care, in which e.g. B. silicones are taboo. Oils such as pracaxi or broccoli seed oil have now been discovered, which have a similar smoothing effect to synthetic hair straighteners , but are made from nature.

24 hour humidity

Hyaluronic acid is one of the best moisturizers out there. In the “24-hour moisturizing care with hyaluronic acid” by Dr. Grandel Elements of Nature has now succeeded in incorporating it as a depot variant that continuously supplies the skin with the thirst quencher.
Plant-based amino acids also promote beautiful plump skin.

Cheers to the décolleté

Targeted smoothing of creases in dry zones – real natural cosmetics can also do that today. In the “Regeneration Neck and Décolleté Cream” by Dr. Hauschka contains moisture-regulating extracts from marshmallow and birch leaves as well as horsetail, which strengthens the skin with its silicic acid .

Phytoestrogens from red clover also help against wrinkles caused by falling estrogen levels.

Roll you beautiful

Eyes Active ingredients that decongest and moisturize, such as organic aloe vera or hyaluronic acid, work even better if they are applied with a small massage.
It’s great that the practical care sticks with massage ball are now also available in “organic”! Lavera’s “Cooling Eye Roll-on” also smoothes with karanja oil, contains antioxidant white tea and cell-stimulating coenzyme Q10.

Two in one go

Apply cream once, care twice. Saves time, space and in this case extra nail care. How practical: Weleda’s “Citrus Hand and Nail Cream” pampers rough skin with almond oil on the one hand, while carnauba and wool wax also care for brittle nails and cuticles.
Soothing extracts of pansy, chamomile and calendula reduce redness.

Asia-Power bei Cellulite

With active ingredients from longan fruits plus ginger extract – both stimulate the skin’s metabolism and are supposed to accelerate fat breakdown – Farfalla’s “Silhouette Miracle Firming Body Gel” fights cellulite and improves skin elasticity.
Cleverly copied from the “high-tech beauties”: a massage roller attached to the tube, which also promotes blood circulation in the connective tissue.

Nothing tugs here anymore

Above all, a children’s shampoo should not sting the eyes. And afterwards when combing through it must not tug.
But you don’t necessarily need chemical softeners for this – natural hair straighteners such as almond proteins and Chilean hazelnut oil work just as well.

They stuck z. Take, for example, Luke & Lilly’s Lilly’s Shiny Shampoo. Aloe vera and organic lime blossom extracts are also beneficial for the scalp.

related cell energy

Coenzyme Q10 – a perfect source of energy for tired skin cells – used to be found only in classic cosmetics. Today it is also used in natural beauty: For Speick’s “Natural Face Cream Rich” it is biotechnologically produced by fermentation and, in contrast to synthetic Q10, is identical to the body’s own Q10.
Another highlight: the embedding of the active ingredient in a transport liposome, which transports it even better into the skin.

Give me styling sugar!

Hair styling products that really deliver what they promise and bring hair into its best shape? These are also available today with natural ingredients. Plant sugars in Sante’s “Styling Gel Natural Former” ensure a perfect fit. Organic birch leaf extracts provide moisture and keep the hair nice and supple.

Bye-bye, Grauschleier

Unfortunately, sensitive skin often does not tolerate peelings with small rubbing beads. It’s nice that the “green” ones now have a gentler alternative: plant-based enzymes that remove dead skin cells. For example “NatuRoyale Biolifting Enzyme Peeling” by Annemarie Börlind.
At the same time, hyaluronic acid provides a lot of moisture.

Protects against wrinkles

Cold, UV radiation: such a (cultivated) edelweiss has to endure a lot. The pretty alpine flower has developed protective mechanisms for this, which also protect the skin cells from attack by free radicals in the “Edelweiß Serum” from Plante System.
It is supported by a microorganism from the Antarctic, which provides moisture and also promotes the formation of collagen and elastin fibers.

Gem for the complexion

What shimmers more beautifully than a (semi-)precious stone? Nearly nothing! And that’s exactly why the “Serum Soin Éclat Précieux à la Tourmaline” from Pure Altitude does not rely on light-reflecting pigments for a radiant complexion, but on the luminosity of tourmaline. It is supported by edelweiss extracts and Maca – a type of cress.

Plant Protection Squad

antioxidants, e.g. Vitamins, for example, can be produced synthetically, but they can also be obtained from plants. The amla plant (Indian gooseberry) valued in Ayurveda is rich in these cell protectors.
The “wrinkle-minimizing care organic hyaluron & amla oil” by Dr. Scheller Natural & Effective contains their oil and organic hyaluronic acid.

Fatty acid instead of silicone

There’s no question: silicones make hair shiny, healthy-looking, but they’re not that friendly to the environment. So far, natural alternatives have always been a little unsatisfactory in their effect.
The newly formulated “Repair Hemp” hair conditioner from i+m Naturkosmetik now contains pracaxi oil from the Amazon region, which thanks to the rare behenic acid (a fatty acid) smoothes the cuticle layer particularly well and should even make silicone disciples happy.
