The effective Glyx rules

Diets are now a dime a dozen. But have you already found which one is right for you? We introduce you to the Glyx diet and are sure that one or the other will like it.

Losing weight is a tiresome topic that we often cannot avoid. A diet that you can easily incorporate into everyday life would be perfect, one that teaches you to eat healthily – but above all one that helps you lose weight effectively. The Glyx Diet promises exactly that! What do you have to do for it? Very simple: Observe the 7 rules of Glyx , implement them correctly and, of course, do some sport at the same time.

But what exactly is Glyx? Glyx, also known as the glycemic index (GI) , measures how quickly blood sugar levels rise. Each food has a number from 1 to 110, which is divided into green (low) glyx, yellow (medium) glyx and red (high) glyx. The lower number is of course the better food for the body, as it fills you up faster, burns fat faster and releases less insulin. At the same time, a food craving is avoided. Better still, low blood sugar levels lower the risk of diabetes and heart attack.

If you look at the Glyx pyramid, you can see the large green area at the bottom of the slimming products, which mainly include fruit, vegetables and vegetable fats. Then comes the yellow box, which represents proteins found in fish, meat, dairy and soy products, legumes, seeds, and eggs. Whereas the light red box represents carbohydrates, such as those found in pasta, rice, potatoes, quinoa, and whole grains. The top of the pyramid is characterized by luxury foods such as cakes, sweets, crisps, pastries, sausages and many more.

If you now click through the following pages of the Glyx Diet, you will see what you can eat on the Glyx Diet and, above all, what you should leave out.

Tolfioow wishes you every success!

1. There are vegetables with every meal

Vegetables are part of every meal. Grab it and eat enough vegetables. Due to the high water content and the roughage in the vegetables, they not only fill you up enormously, but also provide all the importantTolfioow substances, even with very low glycemic acid.

2. Taboo is: Red and yellow glyx plus fat

Remember that carbohydrates are always used first. Unfortunately, fat always starts in the wrong places on the body. So combine better. For example, if you eat yellow or red fat spot foods, make sure you only combine them with green glyx.

The following is important for understanding: A yellow Glyx (e.g. cooked carrots, sweet potatoes and sweetcorn) has a medium Glyx factor and should only be consumed in moderation. A red Glyx (e.g. Pumpkin) equates to a high Glyx and should therefore be avoided entirely at best. On the other hand, a green Glyx (such as: avocado, red cabbage, bell pepper, leek, tomato, zucchini, onion, garlic, iceberg lettuce, broccoli, kale, spring onion, and ginger root) is a low Glyx, which means it’s also best for losing weight. It is also worth noting that foods containing green glyx strengthen the immune system and prevent chronic diseases.

3. Do not eat more than three main meals

Think about your body and remember that it needs enough time to digest everything. It is therefore important that you give your body at least a four-hour break after meals. During this “recovery” phase, your body doesn’t release insulin, giving you plenty of time for fat loss.

At lunchtime you could get a salad to go with lots of vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes or carrots. It can also be served with egg, turkey, cheese or tuna. Then add some vinegar-oil as a dressing and the quick Glyx lunch is ready.

4. Green Glyx plus protein in the evening

Now it’s over with the delicious chips or sweet chocolate in the evening. From now on, your evening diet should include mainly low-glycemic vegetables in combination with protein.

The following foods are hidden under green Glyx plus protein: broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, sweetcorn, oyster mushrooms, mushrooms, dried mushrooms, shiitake, silken tofu, natural soy yoghurt, soy shreds, tofu, cashew nuts, peanuts, para-, whale- and Hazelnuts, pine nuts, egg (58 g), yoghurt (3.5%), salmon, plaice, shrimp, bratwurst, Vienna sausage, egg noodles and many more.

5. Use citrus kick

A dash of freshly squeezed lemon on the fish, in the salad dressing, in the mineral water and in the tea – this is the vitamin C that our body absolutely needs to burn fat. Try it!

6. Use the right oil

Oil is not just oil and not all oil is equally good. We will therefore tell you which oils you should stay away from and which ones are good for you and your new diet. Unsaturated fats, such as those found in nuts and vegetable oil, are recommended for the Glyx diet, while you should steer clear of saturated and hydrogenated fats found in processed foods, palm oil, lard, and cheap margarine.

7. Watch out for sweets

Be sparing with sweets, you should never eat too much sugar. Maple syrup, honey, thick juice and sweeteners should be avoided as they stimulate the appetite and make you fat in the long run. A little sugar in the coffee is allowed from time to time, but not with every cup.
