Falafel balls not only taste good, they are also a wonderful meat substitute. Since the falafel consists mostly of chickpeas, the balls are a healthy source of nutrients. They also provide you with plenty of protein and fiber. Combined with the other ingredients, it makes a delicious and healthy meal.

- 1 small romaine lettuce
- 1 small red onion
- 1 large tomato
- 6 falafel balls (organic, from the refrigerated section, e.g. from Alnatura)
- 1/2 flatbread (approx. 250g)
- 1 Portion Joghurt-Aioli
- Chiliflocken
preparation
- Clean lettuce, wash, spin dry and cut into strips.
- Peel the onion and cut into thin rings.
- Clean, wash and dice the tomato.
- Halve the falafel balls and heat in a coated pan without fat while turning.
- Quarter flatbread. Cut pockets into each quarter and spread with aioli . Fill with lettuce, diced tomatoes, falafel balls and onion rings. Sprinkle with chili flakes if you like.
