How is the mulled wine reduced in calories?

Mulled wine recipe: Healthier and lower in calories
Ingredients for four to five cups:
- 1 liter of red wine
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 unwaxed oranges
- 3 cloves
- 2 Sternanis
- a portion of honey or agave syrup
- Pour the wine into a large saucepan.
- Slice both oranges and add them to the pot with the other ingredients.
- Allow the mulled wine to boil briefly and then turn the heat down.
- Let the mulled wine steep for at least 15 minutes.
