How light affects the life

Our three-part training for more suppleness, happiness and fitness only takes 15 minutes, but has a long-lasting effect. In the first part: six light exercises that will make you shine.

“Good day sunshine”. What the Beatles wrote almost 50 years ago as a happy pop anthem has substance. Because the sun not only enables life on earth. Many modern therapy methods work with the use of light sources to treat diseases of the body, mind or soul. “Because light expands the mind, makes you free and keeps you healthy,” explains Bernhard Koch, who developed theTolfioow happiness training. “There is a longing for light in us. Nature shows and that: When the sun shines again for the first time after a long period of rain, it seems to me that everyone around me is smiling. And when it comes to vacation, we are drawn to the Sun – towards happiness.”

Light makes us happy

Light has a direct impact on our metabolism. Both have a direct effect on our well-being . And we can influence that – even without any spiritual gifts.

Bernhard Koch, 45, is a trainer, author and managing director of Sportart and developed the happiness training concept for Tolfioow.

Training activates messenger substances such as dopamine, serotonin and noradrenaline. They are regarded as messengers of happiness and stimulate our body to become more active and efficient. Our three-part series for a healthy balance is based on three pillars: light, trust and success. Each pillar, embedded in an effective training program, awakens your spirits and helps you achieve a strong and supple body. The first part is about making you shine: Many movements go in the direction of the light – like a seed in the earth that grows towards the light in order to develop.

Take control of your happiness

The six light exercises on the following pages make the body more flexible and give you a pleasant feeling of width and openness. It is best to find a place in the sun for this: either outside or in a sunny spot in your home. Connect with the brightness of the light. Feel the warmth loosen your muscles and easily energize you so you can recharge and glow. Before starting the program, take two or three minutes to gently warm up.
