Sandwich with pesto cream cheese
Attention sandwich fans – you’ve never eaten your bread like this before! We top our hearty sandwich with spicy Bündner meat and a delicious pesto that is quick and easy to prepare.

ingredients
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 bunch of basil
- 50 g Italian hard cheese
- 100 grams of cream cheese
- 50 grams of pine nuts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt pepper
- 50 g Rauke
- 1 carrot
- 8 slices of wholemeal rye bread
- 8 slices of Bündner meat
- 4 tbsp alfalfa sprouts
preparation
- For the pesto, peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash and shake dry the basil. Grate cheese and mix with garlic, basil, cream cheese, pine nuts and puree. Season with salt and pepper.
- Wash rocket and carrot. Peel the carrot and cut into thin slices with the vegetable peeler. Spread bread slices with pesto cream cheese. Top with rocket, carrots and Bündner Fleisch. Sprinkle with sprouts and serve.
