Healthy cookies with oatmeal and banana
Our recipe for delicious wholemeal banana cookies is healthy and low in calories. Instead of flour, we use oat flakes, which contain lots of fiber , minerals, vitamins and plant-based iron. Another ingredient are bananas, which are rich in potassium, magnesium and vitamin B6. Due to the fructose they contain, they are a popular source of energy for in between meals. Due to the natural sweetness of the banana , no additional sugar needs to be added to our recipe . The wholemeal banana cookies are perfect for anyone who wants to snack on something healthy.
ingredients
- 2 small egg yolks
- 2 small egg whites
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 small banana
- 200 grams of rolled oats
preparation
- Beat the egg whites until stiff.
- Mash the banana with a fork and mix with the egg yolk to form a smooth batter.
- Add the baking powder, stir in the beaten egg whites and oatmeal.
- Fill the finished dough into a piping bag and pipe beautiful cookies onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake the cookies in a hot oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
Recipe Tips
The recipe can also be modified wonderfully! Depending on your taste, you can also add cinnamon, hazelnuts or walnuts, raisins or chopped dried fruit, for example. Keep the biscuits in a tin can, so the pastries will keep for weeks.
