- 1200 grams of peaches
- 350ml buttermilk
- 150 grams of cane sugar
- 400 g Mehl (Type 1050)
- 3 Eggs
- 50 g Almond pins
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 1 bag of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
preparation
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and half the sugar.
- Whisk together the buttermilk and eggs, slowly pour the liquid over the flour mixture and mix to form a smooth batter.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the dough on it and smooth it out.
- Wash the peaches, dab dry and halve, stone and cut into wedges. Spread on the cake batter.
- Sprinkle the slivers of almonds, the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar on top and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approx. 25 minutes.
