  • 1200 grams of peaches
  • 350ml buttermilk
  • 150 grams of cane sugar
  • 400 g Mehl (Type 1050)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 50 g Almond pins
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and half the sugar.
  2. Whisk together the buttermilk and eggs, slowly pour the liquid over the flour mixture and mix to form a smooth batter.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the dough on it and smooth it out.
  4. Wash the peaches, dab dry and halve, stone and cut into wedges. Spread on the cake batter.
  5. Sprinkle the slivers of almonds, the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar on top and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approx. 25 minutes.
