Delicious and quickly prepared: mini fillets with noble sauce and curry
Healthy currywurst alternative
We don’t want to know what’s in currywurst, and we also leave out ready-to-eat ketchup with sugar. Unfortunately, sausage and fries are among the particularly fatty snacks. But there is an easier way: Fine, lean pork fillet contains a lot of protein and the fresh potatoes, baked in the oven with a little oil, contain the muscle and nerve mineral potassium. We garnish the whole thing with homemade ketchup made from fresh tomatoes and with a little sugar – delicious!

ingredients
for 2 servings
- 3 large potatoes (approx. 400g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt pepper
- 1 thin pork fillet (approx. 300 g)
- 1 serving of homemade ketchup
- 1/2 TL Currypulver
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (200 degrees for a fan oven). Peel the potatoes, wash and carefully pat dry. Cut the potatoes lengthwise into thin slices (0.5 to 1 cm), then cut the potato slices lengthways again into thin sticks. Mix the potato sticks with 1 tbsp oil and salt. Spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cook in the hot oven for about 20 minutes. Turn once.
- Wash and pat dry the meat. Cut into slices about 0.5 cm thick. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan. Fry the fillet slices in it for 1-2 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from the pan, drizzle with ketchup and sprinkle with curry powder. The fries are enough.
