Spelled flour: A healthy alternative when baking
Spelled flour contains more protein, vitamins and minerals than wheat flour, making it a healthy alternative to baking. And the taste does not suffer when you use it – on the contrary, our spelled bunnies with coconut glaze are particularly tasty!

- 100 g Butter
- 150 g spelled flour
- 1 tablespoon cane sugar
- 100 ml sour cream
- 40 g powdered sugar
- 1/2 Citron (Bio)
- 40 g Coconut flock
preparation
- Grate lemon zest for 1 tsp lemon zest. Then squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- Form the lemon zest, flour, sugar, butter and sour cream into a dough using a dough hook. Chill the dough in the fridge for about an hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out with bunny cutters (or cutters of your choice). Then bake for 15 minutes at 180°. Let cool down.
- For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice.
- Brush the cooled biscuits with glaze and top with coconut flakes. Finished!
