Oatmeal is delicious and filling, making it ideal for breakfast. If you don’t have time in the morning, you can prepare overnight oats the night before. We have a great recipe for you with fresh strawberries, bananas and flaxseed.

Overnight oats with strawberries

Attention late risers! We have a delicious breakfast idea for everyone who doesn’t get out of bed in the morning and therefore has little time for breakfast. Our overnight oats are prepared the night before and can be eaten straight away the next morning. The oatmeal keeps you full for a long time and gives you energy for the day. There are also delicious and healthy toppings such as strawberries and flaxseed.

ingredients

for 4 servings
  • 500 grams of strawberries
  • 2 bananas
  • 100 g ground flaxseed
  • 300 ml Mandel drink
  • 60 g tender oat flakes
  • 40 g chopped almonds
  • 1 tbsp honey

preparation

  1. Wash and trim 250g strawberries. Peel the bananas and cut into pieces.
  2. Puree 80 g linseed, almond drink, oat flakes, almonds, honey, the prepared strawberries and bananas, chill overnight.
  3. Divide the overnight oats among four bowls. Wash and trim the remaining strawberries and cut in halves or quarters depending on their size. Garnish the overnight oats with the strawberries and sprinkle with the remaining flaxseeds to serve.

Recipe Tips

Depending on the desired consistency, add a little more almond drink to the swollen oats.
