Chocolate cream puffs: Recipes

Surprise visit or spontaneous sweet tooth? Bake these minis from choux pastry and chocolate cream. All in all it only takes 45 minutes. And they are eaten up in no time at all!

Ingredients for 16 pieces

  • 40 g Butter
  • 75 g whole wheat flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200 grams of whipped cream
  • 1 pack of cream stabilizer
  • 1 Tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

preparation

  1. Weigh and provide ingredients. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Boil the butter with 1/8 l of water in a small saucepan. Add the flour all at once and stir everything with a wooden spoon until the dough comes off the bottom of the pan as a lump and a fine film forms there. Pour the batter into a bowl. Carefully stir in the eggs one at a time.
  3. Scoop out 16 heaps the size of walnuts with teaspoons, place on the baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes. Cut open immediately. Whip the cream until stiff, sprinkling in the cream stabilizer, cocoa and powdered sugar. Fill the cooled cream puffs with the chocolate cream and serve immediately!
