Banana bread without flour: recipe with almonds and honey
Looking for a healthy paleo cake recipe? Then you absolutely have to try our banana bread, which does not require any flour, butter or cow’s milk. It goes great with Sunday brunch or afternoon coffee.

- 4 bananas
- 3 Eggs
- 40 ml Mandel drink
- 2 tbsp honey
- 260 g ground almonds (e.g. from Lidl)
- salt
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C (top/bottom heat). peel bananas In a bowl, mash 3 bananas with a fork. Slice the remaining banana.
- Put the eggs, almond drink, honey and oil in the bowl and mix. Add 250 g ground almonds, salt, cinnamon and baking powder and mix until smooth.
- Grease a loaf tin and sprinkle with the remaining ground almonds. Pour the dough into the tin, top with banana slices and bake in the oven for approx. 60 minutes. Let paleo banana bread cool slightly.
Recipe Tips
Instead of ground almonds, you can also use ground hazelnuts.
