All around spoiled

With the desire for a short break, but also a small change, our online editor made her way to the hidden Secret Garden in downtown Hamburg. The result: total relaxation and a new look.

While everyone around me is busy shopping for the weekend or just shopping, I have an appointment in Hamburg’s small but beautifully situated Aveda Secret Garden on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
When I get there, the waiting time is shortened with a latte macchiato and a delicious salad. And although I really don’t like to wait that much because it always makes me so nervous, the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere probably helps me to calm down inside. Before I can even think about how much time has passed, I am taken to my seat. Admittedly a bit nervous, as always when it comes to my fine and thin hairand their change goes. But then the next surprise follows: After a short conversation, we completely agree on the cut and color. My hair, which reaches almost to my shoulders, is to be shortened by a few centimeters and styled into a bob. I’m surprised we agreed so quickly. Because normally I have to explain at this point with hands and feet how I imagine the end result. I’ve almost gotten used to the fact that it’s different anyway.

But not in the Secret Garden: After almost two hours, a head massage with the new products from Invati (they are supposed to make my hair stronger and fuller if I use them regularly), a relaxing hand massage and a cool red bob, I leave the salon.
It’s now dark outside and I’m on my way home, deeply relaxed. The new color and the new cut can only be properly assessed the next morning in daylight. My first conclusion: It pays to be brave!
But that’s not all: after a few weeks I actually feel like my hair is growinghave somehow become more grippy and don’t collapse as quickly. I think I have my discipline to thank for that, as I used both the Invati shampoo, conditioner and spray every day. So there is a second conclusion: Consistency is rewarded!
